Royal Danish Consulate Cebu, 16 August 2021:

The local government of Cebu City has issued an Executive Order imposing heightened restrictions on top of the current Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine classification of the city following the unusually high number of daily COVID19 cases reported by the Department of Health in Cebu City. In particular, persons above 60 years old and those with
non-essential activities are strictly prohibited from leaving their homes. The local government has warned as well of imposing penalties with "teeth" and empowering local police to check and apprehend violators at various checkpoints around the city.  The said Executive Order is effective immediately until 
31 August 2021.

In light of the current situation, the Danish Consulate will be closed until
31 August 2021. The consular team will remain accessible via email for urgent concerns.

 

The Royal Danish Consulate in Davao is closed until further notice. Consular staff will be working from home and can be reached by email and phone.

 

Travel restrictions, as of 14 August 2021

IMPORTANT ADVISORY ON ENTRY RESTRICTIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH PHILIPPINE REGULATIONS TO PREVENT THE ENTRY OF SARS-COV-2 B.1.617 VARIANT FIRST DETECTED IN INDIA

Travelers departing from or who have been to the following countries in the past 14 days before scheduled arrival are NOT ALLOWED to enter the Philippines until 31 August 2021:

 

  • India
  • Pakistan
  • Bangladesh
  • Sri Lanka
  • Nepal
  • United Arab Emirates (UAE)
  • Oman
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Thailand

 

List of the 'green countries' who can enter the Philippines, as of 12 August 2021

Albania, American Samoa, Anguilla, Australia, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Chad, China, Comoros, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Gabon, Grenada, Hong Kong (SAR), Hungary, Mali, Federated States of Micronesia, Montserrat (British Overseas Territory), New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niger, Nigeria, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Poland, Romania, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Slovakia, Sudan and Taiwan.

Entry of foreign tourists who are not in the "green countries" is prohibited until further notice.
